Garcelle Beauvais and Jamie Foxx Had A Great Working Relationship, But Garcelle Once Revealed The One Reason She Couldn’t Date Him

Eventually, even though both characters shared screen time with other love interests, their irrefutable chemistry led them to be a couple on the show.

The pair have kept their friendship intact, even though the show went off-air in 2001. The actors also reunited onscreen, once again, in 2013 to film the movie White House Down as the President and First Lady of the United States.   Jamie Foxx appeared on Garcelle Beauvais’s Going To Bed With Garcelle podcast. They talked about their relationship, among other things. The Spider-man: No Way Home star touched on their time on the WB sitcom and speculated on where “Jamie and Fancy’s” relationship would be today.

Jamie Foxx shared his belief that the couple would definitely have children and “run their own hotel.” He also stated that they’d have their rough patches, perhaps breaking up at a point. But Jamie and Fancy would reconcile and raise their children. The Academy Award-winning actor then talked about the joy he experiences while rewatching old clips of their work on The Jamie Foxx Show from fans. “We didn’t know, but we were really doing something remarkable,” said Jamie Foxx to Garcelle Beauvais.

The Jamie Foxx Show may have been completed, but that didn’t mean their friendship did. Fans often took their onscreen chemistry and hoped this couple would translate into a reality. However, although they could not doubt their attraction for one another, they did not escalate beyond a friendship.

Garcelle Beauvais often speaks of her admiration for her longtime friend. “I love [Jamie Foxx] so much,” the co-host of the Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show The Real said while interviewing with Access Daily. She then shared that had they exercised their opportunity to have a romance in the past, they “wouldn’t be the friends we are now.” Beauvais reflected on how she’s watched her friend and co-star mature over the years into the “amazing man and father” he’s become. She also spoke about the many times Jamie Foxx has offered his unwavering support to whatever projects she may be involved in.

Time can change any and everything, without a doubt. And in Jamie Foxx and Garcelle Beauvais’ case, while it didn’t propel them into a more romantic space, it has definitely strengthened their friendship. It was then that Foxx mentions that he “hates” all the men that she’s dated because he feels as though it should have been him. “I think me and you should’ve been together,” the actor says, adding that he “f–d up.” Beauvais stated that she’s always felt it, and so do the men she’s dated. There are other instances where a romantic relationship may not have been the move for them. For example, Beauvais once told a story of a time when the pair shared an intimate scene for a project. However, Jamie Foxx appeared to suffer from, let’s say, performance anxiety.

Also, during their conversation on the actress and model’s podcast, Garcelle admitted that Jamie Foxx’s private parts are pretty intimidating for her. Or, as she puts it, Jamie Foxx is “hung like a horse.” “What would I do with all of that” questioned Beauvais. The actor then responded by advising her to take it “one step at a time.”

According to InTouch Weekly, Jamie Foxx was last reported to be dating a model named Dana Caprio. It’s unclear whether they are still an item, but one thing is sure. Jamie Foxx and Garcelle Beauvais may just remain friends forever. Although they agreed on one thing during the podcast. According to both Jamie Foxx and Garcelle Beauvais, they are both “in a relationship forever, no matter what.”
